Looking at everyone’s guesses before UFC 159 it seemed that most people thought that the main event between Sonnen and Jones would go into the mid to late rounds. When it ended in the first round I was a bit surprised as well.

With a prediction that was 71 seconds off the mark, my facebook friend Mike Matheson wins!

Here was his prediction:

Wow, when Ronda Rousey gets hold of an arm she doesn’t let go! Sarah did a great job of getting to the top position a few times while caught in the arm lock but Rousey was able to use slick technique to keep flipping here back over into the more dangerous position of being on her back.

I spent the night at East Side Marios with a bunch of guys from my team and my 13 year old son as well. He wanted to come out with us and watch the fights which was pretty cool.

This morning I woke up feeling a little bit off but managed to train thoughout the day.

Tonight though, I’m stuck in bed sick with the flu.

The wife and I were at her Christmas work party when it set in so we decided to leave. We just got in at 10pm and I seem to be getting worse by the minute.

Unfortunately, I’ll need to reschedule our first live workout –for deluxe members– to another date. With the holidays coming up, it’ll be best to do the first live lesson on Sunday January 2nd at 12 noon EST.

New live workout schedule

• Lesson 1 – Sunday, January 2nd at 12 noon EST
• Lesson 2 – Sunday, January 23rd at 5pm EST
• Lesson 3 (new date) – February 20th, at 3pm EST

I’m very sorry about an inconvenience this causes for anyone.

It’s been a few years since I first had the idea of creating this program.

Finally, everything is ready to go and people everywhere will be able to learn basic mixed martial arts from their own home.

I’m very excited about the MMA QuickStart Program and have put a ton of effort and time into creating it.

There are lots of cool features in the program including a 12 week Calender, a video technique library with over 100 different videos and many others.

My personal favourite feature is the 12 different follow along Shadow fighting MP3 files.

This is only the beginning as I’m in the process of creating many different program add-ons that will build upon everything you learn through the MMA QuickStart program.
